DAY 1- Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi airport and transfer to the hotel. Later drive to take a combined tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. The Older part of Capital takes you to the Red Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, Jama Masjid Mosque, with its marble domes and slender minarets; Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi cremated). The Modern area takes you on a drive along Rajpath, New Delhi's broadest avenue, and see The House of Parliament, the diplomatic enclave and the President's House - The Royale Residency of the former viceroys and now the President of India. Visit the India Gate and The Qutub Minar built in the 12th century. Evening drive back to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 2- Delhi

After breakfast, take a full day tour to Akshardham Temple( Swaminarayan Akshardham)in New Delhi epitomises 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3- Delhi – Shimla (343 km - 6 hours 54 mins)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Shimla. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4- Shimla

After breakfast, enjoy the city tour. Kufri -a tiny hill station. It is famous for its beautiful environs and the cool refreshing atmosphere that pervades it. In summers, travelers can enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding verdant valleys and snow-capped peaks. Himalayan Aviary - Himalayan Aviary or the Himalayan Bird Park is a natural habitat of numerous species of birds found in Himachal such as Himalayan Monal, Pheasants, Peafowls and National Bird of India, the Peacock. Jhaku Temple - Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple is at an altitude of 2,455m near the highest point of Shimla ridge. It offers a fine view over the surrounding valleys, out to the snowcapped peaks, and over the town itself. The temple is a 45-minute walk from the Mall. Jakhu is a vantage point for witnessing the changing skyline as the sun rises or sets. Sankat Mochan: On Shimla-Kalka road is the famous "Lord Hanuman" temple. Situated at an altitude of 1,975m, it commands an excellent view of Shimla town. Later return back to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5- Shimla – Manali (248 km - 6 hours 49 mins)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Manali. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6- Manali

After breakfast, visit Rohtang Pass (Snow Point) - Situated about 51 km from Manali town at an altitude of 4,111 meters (13,400 ft.) on the highway to Keylong, is Rohtang Pass. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. At the top of the Pass the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herringboned ridges into the Lahaul Valley. There is a beautiful Doshohar Lake left to the pass, where pilgrims go every year on the auspicious day of 20th Bhadon. This is the only access to Lahaul valley. The pass is open from June to September each year although trekkers can across the pass a little earlier. Rohtang pass is the gateway to Lahaul valley just as Zojila pass in between Kashmir valley and Ladakh. Return back to the hotel.Take some rest and later visit:-Hadimba Temple - Built in 1553, this four-story wooden Hadimba or Dhungiri temple is famous for its exquisitely caved doorway. It is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar. Jagatsuhk - About 6 kms. from Manali is the famous Shiva Temple in "shikara" style. It houses temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri. Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple (3 kms) - Across the Beas river is Vashist, a small village with natural sulphur springs. Modern bathhouses, with Turkish-style showers, have the hot water piped into them for the convenience of the visitors who come here to benefit from the medicinal properties. There is a pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni and another Temple of Lord Ram. Evening shop at the Mall Road. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7- Manali – Dharamshala (234 km - 6 hours 27 mins)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Dharamshala. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8- Dharamshala – Dalhousie (117 km - 3 hours 24 mins)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to visit Dharamshala-which stands on a spur of the Dhauladhar range amidst magnificent deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. It is also known as 'The Lhasa in India'. Later drive to visit MCLEOD GANJ :- The arrival of the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, along with thousands of refugees to Dharamshala in 1959 made the life here more active. A number of tibetan settlements with religious education and other rehabilitation centres mushroomed all over the Mcleadganj. As Dharamshala became the headquarter of the Tibetan Government in exile, headed by Dalai Lama, it gained prominence all over the world and prominent personalities started arriving here. Mcleadganj emerged as a major Buddhist centre. ST.JOHN'S CHURCH : ( 8 km. from Dharamshala town ) The church lies in the forest between Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. It has a monument dedicated to Lord Elgin, one of the viceroys of India, who died at Chauntra ( Mandi district ) and was buried here in 1863 A.D. The Church has lovely spotted glass windows and there is a Christian cemetery around it. It is ideally situated in the majestic 'Deodar' forest. Later drive to Dalhousie. Upon arrival transfer to th ehotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 9- Dalhousie

After breakfast, and later drive to visit following:-PANCHPULA : Panchpula, a beautiful spot, is barely 3 kms. from G.P.O. On the way to Panchpula is Satdhara springs gurgling with refreshing water, believed to contain some medicinal properties. Panchpula stream is the main source of water supply to Dalhousie and Bahloon. The stream springs from the north side of DayanKund and runs down a picturesque ravine to the waterworks of Panchpula. There is an elegant monument erected at Panchpula where several streams meet at one point. This monument, a samadhi was built in memory of great revolutionary Sardar Ajit Singh who breathed his last in Panchpula. There is a Tourism restaurant and several chai shops in Panchpula, that offer hot and cold beverages and snacks. SUBHASH BAOLI : Just approximately 1 km from G.P.O. is a charming natural spot called Subhash Baoli. Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose during his 7 months sojourn in Dalhousie in 1937 is believed to have spent most of his days by the side of this water body, meditating amidst dense woods of Cedar and meeting his party workers. This place lies on the G.P.O. - Jandri Gaht Road. A canopy with seating facilities has been created by the local administration at this place. Afternoon take an excursion to Khajjar & Chamba :-KHAJJAR 20 kms from Dalhousie popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snowcapped mountains and pine trees.A little golden-spired temple of Khajjinag belonging to the 12th century and a picturesque golf course adds to the exquisite beauty of this pretty spot ) . Enjoy the greenery, take a horse ride. CHAMBA is dotted with magnificently carved temples, palaces and buildings that you should visit. The Laxmi Narayan Temple, the main temple of Chamba is a great work of art, built in a shikhara style. Within the same complex, visit the Temple of Radhakrishna, Champavati Temple,Shiva Temple and Gauri Shanker Temple.Vajreshwari Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of Lightning, Vajreshwari Sui Mata Temple ,located atop the hill of Shah Madar, is a beautiful place to visit. The Akhand Chandi Palace, belonging to the Chamba Family, is a beautiful work of art, with its glass work, fine woodwork and painted walls. Also visit the Rang Mahal, said to be one of the largest monuments, built after the Mughal and British style of architecture. Return back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 10- Dalhousie – Chandigarh (314 km - 6 hours 9 mins)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and to Chandigarh airport to board the flight for onwards the journey with fond memories of trip. Tour Ends..(All distances and timings are approx.)
