DAY 1- Arrive Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (286 km - 4 hours 57 mins)
Arrive Jodhpur and drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2- Jaisalmer
After breakfast, take a full day city tour. Jaisalmer Fort: - Jaisalmer fort is the second oldest in Rajasthan. Two hundred and fifty feet tall and reinforced by imposing crenellated sandstone wall 30 feet high; it has 99 bastions, 92 of which were built between 1633 and 1647. Tazia Tower of Jaisalmer is one of the major tourist attractions. If you have done with the various Rajputana architectures scattered in the city, Tazia tower will come as a welcome break to you. These were the homes of the former royal family. The Tazia tower is a 5-storied structure where each story has significance in its own. Gadsisar Lake is another major tourist attraction of Jaisalmer. Just leave the madding crowd behind and venture towards the outskirts and you will find yourself next to the famous Gadsisar Lake. In the evening, check in at the Desert Camp. Later take an excursion to Sam Sand Dunes, to enjoy beautiful sunset across this nomad's land. See the long stretches of sand dunes as far as your eyes can go. The golden crests and troughs provide you with the sense of limitlessness. Take a camel safari to experience the limitless Thar Desert. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3- Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (286 km - 4 hours 56 mins)
After breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Later rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 4- Jodhpur – Mt. Abu (276 km - 4 hours 35 mins)
After breakfast, take a city tour. Mehrangarh Fort - is still run by the former Maharajas of Jodhpur. The fort has a stunning collection of elephant howdahs, miniature paintings, and a huge tent made for the Mughals. Jaswant Thada, the white marble memorial is a peculiar monument to death. The son of the Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built this in memorial of his father. Also, the building has wonderful views over the city and of the fort. Later drive to Mt. Abu. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 5- Mt. Abu – Udaipur (163 km - 2 hours 45 mins)
After breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive to visit Nakki Lake - This mesmerizing lake is located in the heart of the valley. This splendid lake is surrounded by rugged hills, green gardens and solid rocks. Tourists visiting this lake also pay homage to the religious grounds of Raghunath Temple that stands beside the Lake. One can also take the charm of horse safaris around the lake, and also boat rides. Adhar Devi Temple - Located 3 km in the north of town. This ancient Durga temple is chiselled out of a huge rock, which is reached by a flight of 365 stairs. It is one of the most believed holiest grounds for tourists and pilgrims across India. The temple allows panoramic views over the old mountain valley of Mount Abu. Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University and Museum The University's stated aim is the establishment of universal peace through the impartation of spiritual knowledge and training of easy raja yoga meditation. To attend one of these residential courses, contact your local branch and arrange things in advance. There is no charge- the organization is entirely supported by donations, as is the accommodation. The Dilwara Temple of Mount Abu is a stunning example of ancient divine. It is one of the popular pilgrimage spot for Jains. The oldest temple is Vimal Vasahi, constructed around 1031 A.D dedicated to the first Tirthankar "Adinath". Later drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 6- Udaipur
After breakfast, take a full day city tour. City Palace - A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces corridors rooms and hanging gardens. Jagdish Temple - Built in 1651A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indoarmy temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple if Udaipur with noteworthy sculpted images. Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the maids of Honor) - This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing sport where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools chiseled kiosks and marble elephants. Maharana Pratap Memorial - This is a very congenial old building built right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amir Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar built it in the eighteenth century. The glass and mirror in the interiors of the Haveli delicate work and well preserved too. The two peacocks made from small pieces of colored glasses are fine examples of glasswork. The Lake Palace is one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, arising out of the Turquoise Waters of the Pichhola like an elegant fantasy in white marble. The Lake palace was built in the 17th century on a natural foundation of 4 acers of rock. It was initially called Jaginwas after its founder Maharana Jagjit Singh. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 7- Udaipur
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and later drive to Udaipur Airport to board the flight for onward the journey with fond memories of the trip.
